Information about each of our parks, including information
about accessibility for those in wheelchairs, is included on each individual park
page.
Here is the our main web page for BC Parks: http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/bcparks/
On the right-hand side, at the top of the page, is our Find
a Park search. You can find a park by alphabetical listing, by geographic location
or by facility/activity.
One of the facilities that you can search by is wheelchair
access. If you visit this page, you can run a search and either search
the whole province, or search by one or more regions: http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/bcparks/explore/fac_search.html
Once you run a search, and have a list of parks with this
facility, you can visit the individual park page to find out more. If the
park page does not list the facilities in detail for you, you may wish to
contact the park via the contact information on the park page (most of our vehicle
accessible parks list contact information), for more specific details. At
the top of each park page, there is a contents box, if there is a contact
number or e-mail, that will be listed in the contents box. If there is no
contact information on the page, you can send a request to regarding the particular
park you wish to find out about.
